Giving Tuesday was a success!

We are in absolute awe of your generosity.

 

On Giving Tuesday, alumni and friends of UW-Eau Claire contributed more than $150,000 to support our students in 24 hours (and $186,000 total including some gifts that were not made online!) The impact that you've made in just 24 hours is extraordinary.

 

Donations from our Giving Tuesday efforts will impact all of our students. From providing opportunities to participate in a mentored research project, to funding on-campus internships for students who aren't able to work off-campus, the impact you'll make at UW-Eau Claire is amazing.

Biology Match in memory of Dr. Fay - $3,000 match!
This match has been met! Jerry Smith, a 1975 Biology graduate, matched gifts up to $3,000 in memory of Dr. Marcus Fay. Dr. Fay passed away in 2015, leaving a lasting legacy at UW-Eau Claire. Dr. Fay founded UW-Eau Claire’s biology department and played an instrumental role in transforming the department into a highly acclaimed science center. Dr Fay was also a strong advocate for the preservation of Putnam Park.
