Giving Tuesday is our favorite day of the year...

At UW-Eau Claire, Giving Tuesday is a day where hundreds of alumni and friends come together to impact the lives of Blugolds in a positive way.

Across the world, it is a day for us to celebrate the impact that we can have on others.

Giving Tuesday is coming up on November 30. We hope you will join us in making a gift to an area of the university that impacted you or that you feel passionate about.

We will be back with matching gifts and challenges so you can DOUBLE the impact of your giving! Watch for some of these opportunities to take advantage of our matching challenges:

Excellence Fund - $20,000 match!
Gary Withers ’79 and his wife Lori Withers have enjoyed the tradition of challenging alums on Giving Tuesday with their Excellence Fund match challenge. Each year alumni continue to succeed! This year Gary and Lori are challenging alumni and will be matching all donations up to $20,000 made to the UW-Eau Claire Excellence Fund! Your donation to the Excellence Fund will support areas of greatest need at UWEC, including scholarships, research opportunities, strong academic programs and other high impact experiences. Start your day off excellent with Gary and Lori by making a donation towards the Excellence Fund!
Office of Multicultural Affairs - $5,000 match!
Thomas Touchett '79 and his wife Susan Touchett will be matching all donations made to the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) Advancement Fund dollar for dollar up to $5,000! Your donation to the OMA Advancement Fund will help the department fulfill its mission to provide quality services and programs that support and enhance the collegiate experience, particularly for students of color. Through advising, advocacy, and outreach, OMA is dedicated to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive campus community that helps students excel individually and collectively.
