Who We Are

At its core, the College of Arts and Sciences teaches students to think critically and creatively about the world around them. We prepare our students to be engaged citizens of the world — not just preparing them for a job, but preparing them for their future.

Our majors and departments are diverse; what they all have in common is providing our students with an engaging liberal education, unique local and global academic opportunities, supportive faculty, and academic resources.

What We're Fundraising For

The College of Arts & Sciences Advancement Fund is a general fund that can be used to support any area or need within the college. This year, we're focusing on raising money to help students with school-related travel expenses. From presenting research at a professional conference, to performing at Carnegie Hall as a member of our esteemed Concert Band, we want Blugolds to represent UW-Eau Claire around the state and country without financial barriers.

Your Impact

Without the continued support from donations like yours, the College of Arts & Sciences would not be able to continue to offer valuable opportunities to students. For example, next year our Concert Band will be traveling to New York City to perform at Carnegie Hall. Gifts to the College of Arts & Sciences Advancement Fund can help decrease the out of pocket expenses for our students, so everyone can enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Matching Gift Opportunity

Make a gift to the College of Arts & Sciences Advancement Fund on Giving Tuesday, and your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $1,500! Thank you to Greg Stoddard '71 for sponsoring this year's match.
