Campus Therapy Dog
Who We Are
Mocha, the UWEC Police Department's trained therapy dog, has spent the past year bringing comfort and connection to campus. Since joining the department, she's become a familiar, welcome presence for students, faculty, staff, and first responders alike, showing up during finals week stress, after hard days, or just for a friendly tail wag between classes.
What We're Fundraising For
We're raising funds to continue covering the ongoing costs of caring for Mocha and keeping the therapy dog program running strong. Your gift helps support her food, veterinary care, continued training, and supplies. A year in, the need hasn't gone away; it's grown, as more of the campus community has come to rely on the comfort Mocha provides.
Your Impact
Over the past year, Mocha has helped create a calmer, more supportive campus. Every gift helps keep her program running for years to come, ensuring students and staff continue to have a comforting, familiar face to turn to. By giving today, you're not just supporting a program, you're supporting Mocha herself, and the sense of comfort and community she brings to UW-Eau Claire every single day.
