Who We Are
The Blugold Emergency Fund is a helping hand in a time of need. The Blugold Emergency Fund provides financial assistance to currently enrolled UWEC students who are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses because of temporary hardship related to an unexpected emergency situation. Emergency situations may include accident, illness, death of a family member, fire damage, or need for temporary housing.
What We're Fundraising For
Gifts to the Blugold Emergency Fund covers things such as:
- Replacement of personal belongings due to fire or natural disaster
- Medications or costs related to unexpected medical care
- Replacement of unintentionally damaged school materials (ie: books, laptops)
- One-time assistance with rent or utilities after job loss or other unexpected financial impact
- Safety related needs
