Honors College

Who We Are

The Mark Stephen Cosby Honors College is a welcoming, engaged learning community for high-achieving students from all majors. Students can choose from a wide variety of innovative courses only offered in Honors, take advantage of unique leadership and research options, and become part of a vibrant community. Our goal is to create opportunities that will help Blugolds develop intellectually, personally, and professionally.

What We're Fundraising For

Your gift to the Honors College fuels unforgettable experiences for our Honors students! From diving into groundbreaking research to attending the National Honors Conference, and joining our Honors Living Learning Community, these students get to explore unique, high-impact opportunities. The Living Learning Community, for example, lets Honors students move in early to kickstart connections before classes even begin. They get exclusive faculty activities, "lunch and learns" with campus and community leaders, and a head start on making friendships and memories that last a lifetime. Your support makes all this possible!

Your Impact

Thanks to incredible donors like you, Honors students can dive into one-of-a-kind leadership and research opportunities that make their college experience unforgettable. Without your support, these bright minds wouldn’t have access to all the exciting options our vibrant community has to offer. You’re doing more than giving, you’re empowering them to grow, lead, and thrive!

Fill the Map Challenge - $6,000 match!
Our Blugold impact spans across borders! Last year, we got a gift from ALL 50 STATES on Giving Day and we are aiming to do it again! They've pledged to match the first $100 donated from each state! To sweeten the deal, if we receive contributions from every single state, they will contribute an extra $1,000 to support UW-Eau Claire students! Help us make this a nationwide success!

Student Org Food Drive Challenge
Alum Eric Wan is challenging students to get involved on Giving Day by participating in an on-campus food drive for the Campus Harvest Food Pantry. Student organizations can take part by dropping off food donations at the pantry, and the organization with the highest total will win a pizza party. In addition, for every item donated, Eric will contribute $1 to the Campus Harvest Food Pantry. Help ensure no Blugolds go hungry!
