Who We Are
Fostering Success is a program that provides resources, services, and support for students who have formerly been in foster care, are experiencing homelessness, or may lack family support. Fostering Success provides the following:
- Campus store (free school supplies, household supplies, toiletries and more)
- A laptop for use for the academic year
- Need-based scholarships
- Student involvement opportunities
- Monthly activities
- A network of professionals ready to support you in your UWEC journey
What We're Fundraising For
Your support builds a home away from home for our students. Students come together for Meaningful Meals, where they share not just food, but laughs, stories, and a sense of belonging. These meals are lovingly prepared by UWEC faculty, staff, and community members, creating a cozy family vibe that students without a traditional support system cherish.
But that’s not all! Your donations also help us stock our Campus Store, where students can grab essentials like school supplies, toiletries, and even household goods. Think of it as a one-stop shop for success!
