UWEC Giving Day 2025

Our Blugold impact spans across borders! Last year, we got a gift from ALL 50 STATES on Giving Day and we are aiming to do it again! They've pledged to match the first $100 donated from each state! To sweeten the deal, if we receive contributions from every single state, they will contribute an extra $1,000 to support UW-Eau Claire students! Help us make this a nationwide success!

Constance Holden is a 1972 graduate from our College of Nursing and is excited to share in the tradition of challenging other Blugolds on Giving Tuesday. Constance is enjoying retirement in Boulder, Colorado after a 42 year nursing career. This year Constance is challenging alumni by matching all donations up to $2,500 made to the College of Nursing Fund! Your donation to the College of Nursing Fund will support scholarships, research opportunities, strong academic programs, and other high impact experiences for nursing students at UW-Eau Claire. Alum Eric Wan is challenging students to get involved on Giving Day by participating in an on-campus food drive for the Campus Harvest Food Pantry. Student organizations can take part by dropping off food donations at the pantry, and the organization with the highest total will win a pizza party. In addition, for every item donated, Eric will contribute $1 to the Campus Harvest Food Pantry. Help ensure no Blugolds go hungry!

Students can kick off Giving Tuesday in style! Starting bright and early at 7:30 a.m., students can swing by the fountain to grab some cozy mittens or gloves and a steaming cup of coffee while supplies last. Don’t miss this chance to fuel up, gear up, and start your day with some festive Blugold spirit!
